Established in 2008

Founded in 2008, by Khofi Kofi Owusu, autodidact, KKO ADVOCACY RESOURCES was set – up to promote human security and social inclusivity. Create awareness about the need to demand good-governance from leadership as a right (both natural and constitutional), whether voted for and / or against the government. Since government must be compelled to deliver because, it’s not accountable to themselves but, the people.

We need to stand united, rise up from age – long snore, slumber and sleep of political propaganda to fight leadership for derivatives of democratic governance.

Mission

Our mission is to strengthen, and encourage the Ghanaian to hold leadership accountable without fear, favor or affinity for the betterment of their livelihoods. As against vicious cycle of propaganda, corruption practiced by leadership which is inimical to both infrastructural and human resource development required.

Vision

Our vision and principle of guidance is the utmost freedom of humanity from the clutches of political propaganda, ethnicity, religiosity / superstition, historical animosity and media sensationalism ( these enslave and hijack one’s mental capabilities) to think vast, out of the box, in freewill and just being themselves ( rather than politically, religiously “ zombified”) in effort to achieve a higher human purpose.

Target

Our core target is the youth, freethinkers and others who desire to think anew, to derive new results. Thus, “NEW MIND ECOSYSTEM” based on ONE NATION, ONE WEALTH and ONE GOOD philosophy. To disconnect from the old mind, old results to new mind, new results at 65 and beyond.

Definitions and Impacts

The “why” you must vote as a responsible citizen, why vote (for that candidate; presidential / parliamentary) and why the government must be held accountable is not the business of the State or politician to offer the electorates – just vote! The electorates are mainly fueled by political propaganda (deception, blatant lies and misinformation), sloganeering and vague promises especially, in so – called “strongholds” which thrive on cut – and – dried electorates as a result of ethnic – tribal politics, historical animosity, extremism, and cronyism. KKO offers the “why”. For instance, why must you vote to participate in elections, why must you vote for that candidate or not and, why you must hold (candidates; government) accountable whether you voted for and / or against them as a constitutional right. It’s believed that when the electorates are provided with privileged information, they will make well – informed decisions. Lack of CVE promotes electoral tensions / violence, malfeasance and animosity, as well as putting wrong persons at helm which defeats the concept of voting. Voters must be sufficiently knowledgeable and well – informed to cast ballots that are legally valid and to participate meaningfully in the voting process as the base of democracy. Voter education must go hand – in – hand with Civic education; the broader concept about system of government; the nature and powers of the offices to be filled in elections; principal economic, social and political issues that confronts the nation; value of democracy; dangers of bad – governance; equal rights of women, children, men and gender and above all, importance of peace and national reconciliation.
